Vision and Mission Statements


	Vision and Mission Statements VISION: To actively promote spiritual, personal and relational well-being in the Evangelical Christian community and beyond. MISSION: Through God's guidance, to provide quality professional Christian counseling and consultation services to interested individuals, families, churches and church leaders, schools, businesses, and other community groups. Underlying Values 1. We will be ultimately motivated by God's love for humanity in all we do. Our vision and activities are in harmony with His commands to the Church at large: That we love Him by actively assisting those in need. 2. We will serve all people in our community and respect them as sisters and brothers created in God's image because that is how God has called us to serve them. At the same time we acknowledge we are especially called and equipped to minister to those of the Christian faith. 3. We will endeavor to provide superior yet cost-effective services in a compassionate and respectful manner. 4. We will seek quality and integrity in our Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers to fulfill our mission. Hiring, training, and appointments will reflect this. 5. We will promote a healthy and effective work environment. This will be reflected in the Center's processes, procedures and communication. We will strive to encourage and empower our Board members, employees and volunteers. We will offer useful support services and benefits to them and avoid asking them to undertake excessive sacrifice for the Center or its clients. 6. We will be guided by sound professional and personal ethics, as enjoined by our Lord and relevant professional organizations. 7. We will endeavor to make our services as accessible as possible for those seeking our assistance, while maintaining a financially solvent nonprofit organization. 8. We will find ways to use the gifts and experience granted to us to give back to the community.
